Water Extinguishers

Water extinguishers are basically filled with ordinary water, but contain also a small amount of chemicals to prevent self-electrocution if the water extinguisher is aimed accidentally at an electrical power line. As there are no harmful chemicals involved, water extinguishers are particularly suited in households with children and cleaning up after the use of an extinguisher could not be easier. The only disadvantage is the relatively weak performance. You need more extinguishers to cover the same risk as for example one foam extinguisher. As a result, water extinguishers are usually large and the typical 9l water extinguisher is quite heavy.
