Hold-open

Hold-open (also known as manual dogging) allows the exit device to be locked into place in the open position, this will prevent the bolts or latch being damaged if the door should be thrown closed.

Please Note: Hold-open should not be used on Fire Doors, unless the door has been certified as a Fire Door with unlatched hardware.
