EN 179 - Emergency Exit Applications

When personnel have had full training on the location and operation of a buildings emergency exit equipment and the exit devices will not be operated by members of the public an exit device conforming to EN179 can be installed.

Please Note: If it is not known if members of the public or untrained staff members will potentially be using emergency exits the EN 1125 standard should always be observed.
