Site Surveys
If you have a new or re-developed site and are unsure which fire extinguishers and fire blankets you require, we can send you a Service Technician for a site-survey. He/she will then recommend the correct extinguishers needed according to the relevant British Standards. There is a charge of £24.00 incl VAT (£20.43 ex VAT) for this survey. If you proceed with the recommendations of the survey, either on the same day or at a future date and purchase the extinguishers and installation from us, we will not charge you a second call-out fee. Please note that this survey fee only covers completed small offices or retail units. For larger sites, please contact us for a quote.
Our Order Process
Servicing
1. You call our friendly customer service team to place your order for servicing.
2. They will explain our charges clearly and confirm your order. A request for a booking is sent by us to our servicing team.
3.One of our Service Technicians will assess his bookings and plan dates when he/she is in your area. He/she will contact you at least two days before your service date to arrange an appointment with you.
4. On the day agreed with you, our Service Technician will carry out your service.
5. During your service you can request additional services and items which will be charged to you on completion. Our prices are clearly stated on our Price Guide.
6. On completion our customer service team will take full payment, and your invoice and certification will be sent out to you in the post.
Site Survey with Same Day Service
1. You call our friendly customer service team to place your order for a site survey.
2. They will explain our charges clearly and confirm your order, then take payment for the survey. A request for a site survey is then sent to our servicing team.
3. A Service Technician will contact you and arrange the survey, which is usually carried out within one week.
4. On the day of your survey our Service Technician will carry out your site survey and issue you with his recommendations. He can also quote you for the recommendations
5. Should you choose to go ahead with the recommendations while the engineer is on-site, our customer service team will take full payment over the phone. The engineer will then carry out your requirements.
6. On completion our customer service team will send your invoice and certification to you in the post.
Site Survey with separate installation/service date
1. You call our friendly customer service team to place your order for a site survey.
2. They will explain our charges clearly and confirm your order, then take payment for the Survey. A request for a site survey is then sent to our servicing team.
3. A Service Technician will contact you and arrange the survey, which is usually carried out within one week.
4. On the day of your booking our service engineer will carry out your site survey and issue you with his recommendations. He can also quote you for the recommendations to be carried out.
5. Once you have reviewed the recommendations in your own time you can contact our customer service team, who will confirm the quote and take full payment over the phone. A request for the installation or service is then sent to the Service Technician.
6. The Service Technician will contact you to arrange a convenient date and time for your installation or service.
7. On the day of your installation or service our Service Technician will carry out the agreed service.
8. On completion our customer service team will send your invoice and certification to you in the post.
