The Ei103C is a battery operated heat detector with test button, allowing you to check that the units sensitivity and circuitry are fully functioning. Heat detectors monitor fires through temperature change but are not affected by smoke, reducing potential false alarms, making them the ideal unit to install in kitchens and garages.
